Suede Play Warchild Gig at Camden Barfly

Suede played a host of new material at a special XFM event last night (4th March 2013). The event was played out at the Camden Barfly in front of only 200 fans and was in aid of the Warchild charity.

Along with the new material, from the album “Bloodsports”, the band also played favourites from all previous albums.

The band reformed three years ago for a one off charity gig at the Royal Albert Hall. They then played a selection of dates showcasing their album releases to date. There had been talk of a new album with Anderson saying all along he would only release another LP it if it was the right thing to do and the material was good enough.

The single “Barriers”, from the new album, is available as a free download from the official Suede website

The set list from last night’s gig was :

Hit Me
Animal Nitrate
Killing Of A Flashboy
He’s Dead
For The Strangers
Starts & Ends
The Drowners
My Insatiable One
Can’t Get Enough
Everything Will Flow
So Young
Metal Mickey
New Generation
Beautiful Ones
