Morrissey’s “Kill Uncle” set for April re-release

Morrissey’s 1991 release of Kill Uncle has been re-mastered and will be reissued on the April 8th 2013, through Parlaphone.

The release will feature a gate-fold CD and LP with brand new a brand new cover and photos. The release will also feature added tracks “Passionate Love”, “East West” (a Herman’s Hermits cover), and a live studio version of “There’s a Place in Hell for Me and My Friends”.

On the same date a special edition of the 1989 hit “The Last of the International Playboys” will also be released. There will be three versions of the single and all will be backed by new songs recorded live on the BBC in June 2011. The CD comes with “Action Is My Middle Name,” the digital release is backed by “The Kid’s a Looker,” and the 7-inch picture disc features “People Are the Same Everywhere.”

As previously reported, Morrissey is currently recovering from a bleeding ulcer, resulting in the postponement of several dates on his tour.
