Red Tan rises from the depths of depression to create music to express herself and inspire others who have been knocked down by life.
After a 5-year hiatus from music, Red Tan has returned with a comeback anthem with the new music video for “Don’t You Dare”. A collaboration with director Loraa White, the dark and seductive visuals amplify the power of Red Tan’s firey prowess.
Shot in an old factory in London, the music video puts imagery to the fierce and powerful single. With each shot, the music video captures the emotion. Lyrically, Red Tan describes her own resolve to not let anyone or anything bring her down.
“Don’t You Dare” is the first single and title track off her upcoming EP, set for release October 13th. After the tragic loss of her husband, who encouraged her to perform, Red Tan became more than determined to release her music. She wrote and recorded her single “Don’t You Dare”, and four other songs of empowerment, at River Studios in Southampton, alongside music engineer Luke Adams (Pete Yorn, Jacob Dylan, Priscilla Ahn, Brandon Flowers of The Killers), and her mentor Chris Grayston (A&R scout for Sony UK).
Red Tan shows her strength and resilience through her music with her new EP, Don’t You Dare. Check out the fierce new music video and look out for Red’s new music this fall!
