Aqua Seca is a new rock band that has released their new single, “Slowdrive.” This is the band’s 5th single they have released this year, and they have more for their fans coming soon.
It’s a deep and ambient track that draws the audience’s introspective side. As the name implies, it gives off the feeling of driving on a long stretch of road and going off into the distance.
Like true rockers, Trent and Derek started Aqua Seca in a garage and have been jamming together since they were freshmen in high school. While they were pursuing more straight-laced careers, their tracks used to just be voice memos on Trent Hankinson’s phone but now they’re so much more. After their music video for their single “Whipped Cream” garnered immediate attention on YouTube, it was the final push they needed to really go for it.
Trent Hankinson (main vocalist and guitarist) is the brain behind this musical project and is in charge of the entire writing, recording, and production process; with Derek Stewart (on drums), and Jacob Horne (bass, guitar, and vocals), they bringing those recordings to life on stage. There is plenty more to come from Aqua Seca soon. The music video for “Slowdrive” will be released later on December 6th, 2019, and their first LP to come in early 2020 so be sure to be on the lookout for those things!
