Tep No, Mark Morrison ‘My Life’ Track Review

Tep No teams up with Mark Morrison on new track 'My Life'.

Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Tep No has teamed up with R&B legend Mark Morrison to release the upbeat anthem ‘My Life’. This new partnership between two big names within their respective genres has resulted in an addictive groove filled EDM track packed to the brim with R&B style vocals.

‘My Life’ features both cheerful electronic beats and angst filled self-reflective lyrics performed by both Tep No and Mark Morrison, a duel performance that results in an anthemic track. The addictive beat running throughout, paired with the electrifying guitar line, is enough to raise any listener to their feet.

Inspired by the weird and wonderful happenings of his career so far, Tep No reflects; “the song reminds me of all the shit I did in Miami, and how I survived them.” The atmospheric track is pulsing with feel-good-feelings, transporting the listener to the very event that inspired it. Providing a level of escapism that we so greatly need right now.

Releasing ‘My Life’, Tep No is on the back of a string of well received singles in 2020 including; ‘Sippin’ On Feelings’, and ‘Heavy On My Heart’, this comes after he was named as Ryan Seacrest’s, a big time American radio presenter, favourite artist. Similarly, Mark Morrison has recently, yet again, achieved platinum success with his latest remix featuring Fetty Wap of his 1996 hit single ‘Return of the Mack’.

This new partnership and its resulting track, ‘My Life’, is the best of two worlds. With its pulsing electronic beats and soulful R&B groove, Tep No and Mark Morrison have dropped one of the most exciting songs of the year!

Released via Ultra Records on 6th November 2020.
