Paris’s DJ Absurd and Iram share entrancing visuals for “Everything Blue”

The Rinse France resident and Bass Society founder channels reggae sonics into this deep dubstep soother.

Back with a bang to kick off what looks set to be a highly active new year, Paris-based record producer DJ Absurd has unveiled the ethereal music video for his new single “Everything Blue”.

Featuring smooth, dub-influenced production and a hazy vocal from hard-to-find singer/songwriter and past collaborator Iram, the new track serves as a departure from the Rinse France selector’s typically gritty signature sound.

Complete with an artistic and tantalisingly ambiguous visual accompaniment, directed by Emma B. and N. Dombrovski, out now, the track is set to hit other streaming services on Monday 18 January, accompanied by an instrumental version and remixes from drum and bass producer Qant and former Mercury Records signee Owlybeats.
