With her latest single ‘Anxiety’ proving to be one of her most impactful singles of late, Nadia Vaeh has now returned to unveil the official video for her latest belter.
With strong nods to the depression that ‘Anxiety’ looks to purvey, her newest clip is a bold and almost triggering return for the artist. Filled with scenes of panic attacks and emotional outbursts, the new visuals strike a strong and powerful message into the heart of the viewer, much like the track itself.
Speaking about the new video, she said, “I was blessed to work with two award-winning directors on this video, one of whom is my family and the other who might as well be! My cousin Noor Gharzadine did all of the creative direction whilst she was abroad in Lebanon during some pretty crazy times for our little nation. Our Lebanese friend/brother from another mother Zane took on the role of director of this voyeuristic vision we dreamt up. This music video was very cathartic to create as I really got to express what anxiety feels like in my brain, out into the physical world. Anxiety left unchecked can easily morph into mania and serious depression. That’s why self-expression and talking outwardly about our internal struggles are so vital. I hope this video helps remind people that the battles in our minds don’t have to be fought alone.”
