On November 19th, pop queens Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa come together to bring their newest pop-rock anthem, ‘Prisoner’ to life.
All week, Cyrus and Lipa were teasing the release of the song but they didn’t make fans wait too long. They confirmed the release date on November 18th on their Twitter accounts.
With a beat that has both rock and pop influence and a killer base, Cyrus and Lipa’s powerful vocals work very well together. Cyrus has a voice that is perfect for a rock song.
Along with the release of the song, a fun-filled 80’s like music video dropped on YouTube. The two singers were shown in a party bus getting up close and personal with each other. Cyrus even pours cherry juice all over herself. The duo also performs at a bar that features a small crowd enjoying their performance.
Following ‘Midnight Sky,’ ‘Prisoner’ is the second single off of Cyrus’ new album ‘Plastic Hearts’ out everywhere November 27th.
