Lucy Deakin releases new single ‘we could be’

Rising Manchester artist prepares a new EP for release this October

Rising Manchester pop artist Lucy Deakin drops new single ‘we could be’, complete with feel good video that represents a generation growning up with the internet.

we could be’ comes as the second single from the upcoming i got bored EP, and follows a positive message of the opportunity that young love presents – it’s all rose-tinted glasses, emojis and carefree attitudes.

Born in the thick of gen-z, Lucy Deakin and producer Karl Ziegler are the quintessential bedroom pop duo. The pair aspire to break the mould of the classic pop song formula with production values that stand up against some of their biggest influencers, such as the anthemic charm of Dua Lipa, Charli XCX’s future-pop flavour, and the bold nature of Miley Cyrus.

Enjoy her latest bop, keep an eye out for the EP via Scruff of the Neck, and watch out for her UK tour next year!
