Leeds band return with dreamy new single ‘What I Need’

Their new Home Alone EP is on the way via Clue Records

Emerging Leeds outfit Van Houten have returned with the dreamy new single, ‘What I Need’.

The track is accompanied by charming DIY visuals, seeing the band take on a new form to illustrate the themes of love, companionship and life’s enduring struggles.

Singer Louis Sadler says… “The song describes my need for the love that I receive from a loved one to overcome the problems in life that seem never ending. It also reflects on how I never really feel content and never really know if I’m heading in the right direction, and how I’ve been looking for an answer for what seems like a lifetime.”

Lifted from their next project, the band also announce a new EP ‘Home Alone’ on Clue Records this November, promising more languorous, submersive soundscapes dappled in the evening sun.
