After the success of his recent single ‘Better On My Own’, which pipped the sixth spot on the Music Week UK chart, Jack Rose is back once again with a second offering in the form of ‘Rockstar’.
The Kent artist beams with the talent of a seasoned pro despite his 18 years of age, and the track is a clear example as to why he has been labelled as a ‘one to watch’ this year. Brimming with R&B influences, it’s bouncy synth-laden melody and punchy percussion play as the perfect backdrop for Jack’s flow, never missing a beat with his bars. The accompanying video is bursting with a youthful spirit, as Jack and a love interest sing along to the catchy chorus whilst dancing in his car. He commands attention both visually and sonically, and is destined to make waves within the industry this year.
Having toured with the legendary Faith Evans, as well as supporting Tinchy Stryder, Natasha Hamilton and Beverley Knight to name a few, Jack has already begun to establish himself on the scene. Hailed as the ‘UK’s Justin Timberlake’, his fanbase has surpassed more than 200,000 followers on social media, with his uploads amassing more than 1.2 million views. A TV presenter on the side, he is the host of the Amazon TV series ‘Ghost Hunting with Jack Rose’, which has had an abundance of celebrity guests, including Tina Malone, Jeremy McConnell and Georgia Harrison.
With ‘Rockstar’ destined to be one of the year’s biggest bangers, the future is looking rosy for the singer-songwriter.
