BBC Radio 1’s flagship news programme BBC Newsbeat felt Glass Caves’ busking story was so unique that they shed a spotlight on the band on their ascent, recognising them ‘a busking sensation’. The duo busked 3 months up and down the country without a single day off to self fund their debut album which reached the UK Top 40 on record store day.
Now they release their latest single ‘Float into Space’ from their upcoming EP set for release through Scruff of the Neck. The track documents the band stepping out on their journeys in life together, having the unknown ahead of them but taking comfort and strength in doing it together, as a brotherhood.
The duo’s straightforward approach to modern rock ‘n’ roll with electric guitars and powerful beats as well as shameless self promo has gained them thousands of fans around the UK.
‘Float Into Space’ is out now and will join previous singles ‘Chasing A Feeling’ and ‘Eye To Eye’ on the new EP ‘A Spin Around the Sun’ – out 23rd October via Scruff of the Neck.
