CASPIAN will be performing a special online live ticketed event on Wednesday the 30th September.
Presented by Audiotree, CASPIAN with The Losander Chamber Orchestra will be an intimate and stunning way of seeing this special band perform live, at The Cabot venue in their hometown.
Originally planned as part of a US nationwide tour, this will be the bands only live performance for 2020, and a must not be missed online show for fans (new, old or casual).
The Massachusetts-based sextet has been described by Pitchfork as “the most regal of the instrumental new rock school” and the New York Times as making “immersive” and “epic” music.
Phil Jamieson, Guitarist in CASPIAN, says “Our hometown show with the Losander Chamber Orchestra last November was the heaviest lift we’ve yet undertaken in terms of trying to push the envelope on what a Caspian show can be, and how it sounds and feels. Having the show professionally documented was mission critical for us very early on and audiotree was the immediate answer. They captured this experience for us and our fans better than we could have imagined.”
Austin Peters, the Creative Director for Audiotree, says: “Caspian’s performance at The Cabot Theatre was a true pleasure to direct and produce. This show is unbelievably powerful. It displays deep levels of emotion from a group of people who have completely poured themselves into their art. I honestly get goosebumps rewatching it. If you’re a fan of this band or any type of post-rock music, you really don’t want to miss out on this incredible show.”
This concert is a one time, ticketed event, happening at 8pm Central Time (US) on September 30th and running through midnight on October 1st. The time zone changes are honoured, so the stream will start at 2am GMT on Oct 1 and end 28 hours after that for UK audiences.
