Boasting her exquisite vocal capabilities, Bella Di Manno is a force to be reckoned with on her stunning new release ‘Breathe’. A flawless blend of two dancefloor classics, she transitions between the two in a dexterous manner that makes it impossible to note where one song ends and the other begins.
Sampling Martin Solveig and Ina Wroldsen’s 2016 hit ‘Places’ and Jax Jones and Bebe Rexha’s ‘Breathe’, which was released the following year, Bella creates a masterpiece that is powerful and poignant, as her rich vocals crescendo above a subtle piano melody. The delicate backdrop allows the lyrics to be felt in an alternate degree to when they are performed in the original version, transcending the heartbreak and depth that the words contain.
“Although Breathe is a cover song it’s reminiscent of my first breakup. I’m a very emotional person in general and I tend to place a lot of value on things to do with romance and love. I get so suffocated in it that I literally feel like I can’t breathe”, Bella confesses, “I’m an all or nothing person in life in general, and so I can’t feel like I ever half-ass something, I have to put my energy in something fully or I just won’t entertain it.”
Bella’s palpable talent blossomed from a young age, as she found solace in songwriting and expressing herself through her music. Through cultivating a YouTube channel and developing a strong fanbase, she unearthed her sound, and gained the confidence to showcase her art.
A dynamic and diverse artist with a voice that is truly captivating to witness, Bella Di Manno is a treasure that has finally been discovered.
