Beauty, a London based singer-songwriter, has released another single “Vulnerable”. Described in GAY TIMES as “bittersweet and beautifully melancholy”, Beauty has built a career on marring together catchy hooks and soulful vocal performance, something that is expertly showcased in “Vulnerable”.
Beauty discussing the meanings within “Vulnerable”:
“This song is about the realisation that I am not invincible. We all need human connection, and when we’re longing for someone’s affection but we’re not sure if the feeling is mutual, it can really wound us and leave us feeling exposed.”
Finding success writing for some of Asia’s biggest stars, including EXO, The Rampage, and White A, Beauty was also featured on BBC One’s hit series ‘Little Mix: The Show’. Taking inspiration from a range of genre-defying artists such as Troye Sivan, MNEK, and The Weeknd, Beauty has developed a unique and often enchanting soundscape.
Maring together unrelentingly upbeat synths and sensitive and heartfelt lyrics, “Vulnerable” is a stand out example of the wonderful and as-of-yet unexplored talents of Beauty.
