The View are set to release their compilation album “Seven Year Setlist” on June 17th 2013. And if that wasn’t enough there is further good news for fans of the band.
Two brand new tracks have been added to the album. “Kill Kyle” and “Dirty Magazine” are both previously un-released tracks and make up a very impressive back catalogue. The View’s official website (www.theviewareonfire.com) states that “Over the years there’s been four studio albums, thousands of gigs, too much vodka and loads of memories on this crazy rock n’ roll journey. So we wanted to create an album that was kinda like stopping and looking back over the years – with a few new tracks too. That’s the Seven Year Setlist”
This will be the fifth album release from the band. “Cheeky for a Reason” was the last major release and followed on from the highly impressive “Bread and Circus”. The 2007 release “Hats off to the Buskers” and 2009’s “Which Bitch?” complete the set.
It’s a busy year for the band as they are about to be begin a major UK tour and also support the Stone Roses on the 15th June for their 50,000 capacity show at Glasgow Green.
