VALE Debuts New Single ‘heart’ With Accompanying Visual (Video Premiere)

Whether it is walking away from a relationship, deleting old photos, or the illustration of drowning, VALE paints a perfect picture of a painful breakup with her lyrics and visual for her newest single ‘heart.’ In the lyrics to ‘heart,’ VALE says, “you left a bad taste when you said goodbye,” but listening to this single feels more like a sweet hello to an up and coming artist.

VALE is a name you are bound to hear a lot from in the world of music. The 17-year-old pop artist from Colombia is set to make waves as she combines enchanting rhythms with her impressively sweet yet unrestrained vocals.

‘heart’ is an emotionally charged breakup track that takes you through the pain of walking away from a bad relationship. With introspective lyrics like “one day, I might have a heart for someone like you to tear apart.” When paired with the music video, you feel a sense of hopelessness as the character plunges into the water and seemingly has no desire to return to the surface. When all of a sudden, the colors change as the women emerges from the water, and it appears to be a brighter day, and the song closes with the more hopeful lyric ‘One day I might have a heart.’

VALE, who is from Barranquilla, Colombia, was drawn to music at a very young age. At the age of six, she was already performing in her school choir, and in her early teens, she had found inspiration in American pop and R & B music and began writing songs of her own.

Today the talented 17-year-old spends her time in both Los Angeles and Barranquilla writing to get ready for her collection of singles she will be releasing throughout the year. VALE released her debut single earlier this year called ‘be somebody,’ produced by Heavy Mellow (Halsey, Jaden Smith.)

With two impressive singles under her belt, VALE is set to be an up and coming name in the pop and R&B genres.
