Twenty One Pilots fly home

On June. 20 Twenty One Pilots embarked on the last installment of their ‘Blurryface’ tour. The duo that consists of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun will play five shows in their hometown of Columbus, OH thanking their fans from their original stomping ground, as well as fans who have traveled from other states or countries, for getting the band where it is today.

The instalment is called Tour De Columbus and is the prequel to Twenty One Pilots Emotional Roadshow tour that started in 2016 and continued well into 2017. The band will play at venues they first played at, and have become monumental and symbolic to fans – including The Basement and Newport Music Hall. The venues that this five-day tour is held are much smaller than what the band has played in the past year, The Basement has a maximum capacity of only 300 people creating much smaller and intimate shows for fans.

Although this is an incredibly exciting tour for fans, as well Dun, Joseph, and their family members, since the venues are much smaller fans have been reminded to take precautions in order to stay safe. On Twitter over the last few days leading up to the tour, fans were advising each other to drink water, eat before the show and to not lock their knees while standing up in order avoid passing out in these smaller places.

 Shows are as followed:

 June. 20 – The Basement

June. 21 – Newport Music Hall

June. 22- Express Live

June. 24- Nationwide Arena

June. 25- The Schott
