Mississippi based band The Weeks have released a performance video for the song ‘Two Moons off of their recently released ‘Two Moons’ album. The video also comes with a tour announcement for five dates in their home state of Mississippi. As a visual, The Weeks give us an inside look of what their live shows are like.
Filmed at Seattle’s Columbia City Theater on their North American tour, the band is playing to a packed house to a very engaged crowd. Directed and produced by Keirda Bahruth, the visuals give a close-up view of each member of the band, stellar crowd shots, and even captures an unexpected crowd surfing experience.
Having been together since 2006, ‘Two Moons’ is the band’s fifth album and is their fourth studio album. It was recorded with Eric Masse (Rayland Baxter, Robert Ellis, Mikky Ekko) in Nashville. The ten-track alternative album further cements them as a must-listen indie rock crew.
There is a bond to this group that you can hear in their music and see in this visual. Having formed when all four members were still in high school, the twin brother Cyle (lead vocals) and Cain Barnes (drums), Samuel Williams (guitar, vocals), and Damien Bone (bass) has been releasing music since 2008. Another bond that you feel with this group is to their Southern roots and home state of Mississippi. As part of this bond, the band is hitting the road for a five-show tour in their home state this February.
Catch them at any of these dates.
