Tame Impala’s Cameron Avery announces UK tour dates

Cameron Avery, known as the bassist for Tame Impala, has announced a solo UK tour.

The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will be releasing his solo debut ‘Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams’ on March 10. He has previously shared a new song titled ‘Wasted on Fidelity’ and an extended version of ‘C’est Toi’, which will be featured on the album. “I wanted to make something that sounded like the old records I love — Johnny Hartman, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James — the big band stuff with less metaphorical lyrics,” he said about the album.
