Canadian punk rockers Sum 41 announced all dates for upcoming tour in the United Kingdom. It will include 8 shows in February starting at Dublin and concluding in London. Sum 41 headlines the Kerrang 2016 Tour with more bands and special guests yet to be revealed.
Labeled under various genres ranging from skate punk to melodic hardcore, Sum 41 have always been at the forefront of the American punk rock industry. After a long history of alcohol abuse, climaxing with frontman Deryck Whibley’s recent coma due to organ failure, the band has supposedly overcame all isues and is set to rock the stage again.
In August, the band also announced that former lead guitarist Dave “Brownsong” Barksh has officially returned to the band nine years after leaving. With alcohol abuse, splits and personal problems behind their backs, the Canadians are currently working on their sixth studio album, their first after 2011’s Scream Bloody Murder, and fans can expect some new tracks.
Sum 41 return to the UK after three years absence. Pre-sale for all shows starts at 9am (GMT) this Friday, 2nd of October. General sale opens on Monday, 5th of October. Tickets can be purchased at Kerrang.co.uk.
