The Stone Roses announce stella support acts for upcoming gigs
The Stone Roses have finally announced who will be supporting them at their highly anticipated shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
The iconic band will be joined by hip-hop legends Public Enemy at each gig across their four-night residency, along with a selection of indie heroes. Chronixx and Blossoms will support on Wednesday 15 June, The Coral and Buzzcocks will appear on Friday 17, followed by Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott and Audioweb on Saturday 18 and Courteeners and Songhoy Blues on the final night on Sunday 19.
The Stone Roses recently released their first single in 20 years ‘All for One’ with more new music expected in the coming months.Following on from their homecoming shows at the Etihad, they have a number of huge shows lined up over the summer.They play Madison Square Garden in New York on June 30, before headlining T in the Park and playing a show in Dublin’s Marlay Park the same weekend.
