This Newton Faulkner article was written by Kieran Stowell, a GIGsoup contributor.
After a two year gap following the release of his home-made album “Studio Zoo,” Newton Faulkner made a dramatic return to the public eye, cutting off his trademark dreadlocks to promote his cover of Major Lazer’s “Get Free” as the first single to his new record “Human Love.”
Prior to the release of the video, Faulkner has held off performing live but next weekend he will be performing at The Bear Grylls Festival closely followed by a series of tour dates in November.
In preparation for the tour dates, Faulkner and his band mates have been releasing humorous teaser videos via social media demonstrating just what audiences will expect when Newton Faulkner finally makes his triumphant return.
