American singer, Lissie, has announced her “Comfort and Joy Tour” – a new acoustic European tour this December. On her website, she has revealed that a new album is in the works for 2016. However, for this tour she says that she is returning to her roots with: ‘lots of acoustic guitar and strong vocals’. The tour dates are as follows:
Thursday 3rd December – Whealans, Dublin
Friday 4th December – The Liquid Room, Edinburgh
Saturday 5th December – Manchester Academy 2, Manchester
Monday 7th December – Thekla, Bristol [sold out]
Tuesday 8th December – Union Chapel, London [sold out]
Thursday 10th December – New Morning, Paris
Friday 11th December – Vonderlkerk, Amsterdam
Saturday 12th December – Gruenspan, Hamburg
Monday 14th December – Södra Teatern, Stockholm
Saturday 19th December – Bogen F, Zurich
Fans will be delighted to hear that she will be performing a mixture of classics from her previous two albums, as well as some new songs, presumably from her upcoming release. Unfortunately, the dates for Bristol and London have already sold out. However, tickets for the remaining dates are still available from around £20 online. Lissie always puts on a great show with her own brand of Fleetwood Mac-esque folk-rock, so be sure to catch her while you can!
Lissie’s previous two LPs, ‘Catching a Tiger’ and ‘Back to Forever’ are available now via Columbia Records
