Quickly approaching fifty and still selling out shows, Marilyn Manson still rocks the circuit arenas. From Budapest to Las Vegas, Marilyn Manson has a jam packed worldwide tour scheduled. ‘The Heaven Upside Down Tour’ recently added a leg of North American tour dates to their European tour dates previously scheduled. The tour begins in Silver Spring, MD and ends in Devore, CA before taking back off to Europe.

With over 6.8 million followers/likes on Facebook, Marilyn Manson has his crowd of diehard fans, some who have been followers for over twenty years. Fans have expressed excitement due to the upcoming tour, however what they really want is new music. Earlier this year, Manson promised a new album, but has yet to release a new album. However, he has told fans that a new album is in the works, although with no release date in site.

A worldly renowned performer, Marilyn Manson has a large portfolio of achievements. Nominated for many awards over the past two decades, Marilyn Manson has won a MTV Music Award for The Dope Show in 1999 and has more recently won a Limetime Achievement Award in 2015 from Kerrang, a UK based rock music magazine. Not only a star on the stage, Manson has quite the extensive list of filmography credits, such as Lost Highway (movie), Area 51 (video game), Sons of Anarchy (a television series), and Let Me Make You a Martyr (movie), where he plays the role of a Pope.

Shock and irony has always been the mantra of the band throughout the years and the theme continues. From self describing his genre of music as “Suicide Rock” on Facebook to discussing in an interview about the song Devour, the possibility of murder/suicide that could have took place three days before the song was written, Manson continues to describe his actions as “works of art”. Regardless of the reason, whether you love the music or just want to see a jaw dropping shock and awe performance, the Marilyn Manson tour is the place you can catch him in all his artistic glory.
