The second date, taking place at Union Chapel on Friday 10th November, was needed after her first show at Bush Hall, London sold out in under 24 hours.
The singer-songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee, is also performing at nine other European dates through May and June, starting in Jena, Germany and finishing in Amsterdam. Thanks to the overwhelming demand, she will be returning especially for the new Union Chapel date.

Baker has recently signed with Matador Records. With this comes the return of her previously released debut album, ‘Sprained Ankle’, which is now available digitally and is being physically re-released on March 17th.
Alongside the re-release of the album, her latest song ‘Funeral Pyre’ is also available digitally. This latest song as well as the B-side ‘Distant Solar System’ will both also be physically released on a 7″ for March 17th.
Baker has received a strong critical reception so far for her signature hushed tones over reverbed instrumental, almost-orchestral, layers. The New York Times called her album “richly poetic songs of trauma and redemption, moving from almost unbearable fragility to confessional strength” and Pitchfork added that “if you prefer redemption songs to sound as raw as they feel, Sprained Ankle could bring you to your knees”.
