In July, Josh Farro, ex-guitarist and backing vocalist of Tennessee pop-punk band Paramore, announced a string of UK tour dates in wake of his new album ‘Walkways’, which was released in February of this year. Farro and his brother Zac left the emo-rock giants in 2010 and went on to form new band Novel America. Despite four years of teasing material across social media though and the possibility of live shows, the band split in 2014 with Farro commenting “nothing was going anywhere”.
Fast forward 2 years and Josh Farro is back with his self-titled solo project and a phenomenal debut album. Farro commented on the eponymous release, “The album represents the journey I’ve been on for the last couple of years from a musical and personal standpoint. It encompasses songs about love, courage and heartache. I feel that this album is the stepping stone to the start of a new chapter.” Far from the sugar-coated angst of Paramore, ‘Walkways’ is an album representative of a self-made man facing everything life has to throw at him. The tour spreads across 11 dates beginning at Norwich Waterfront on 17th November and concluding at London’s Borderline on the 29th. The complete list of shows can be seen below:
