With the release of his debut solo album just days away (12th May), Harry Styles has revealed his first set of tour dates today.
Following the success of his first single ‘Sign Of The Times’ which has been compared to the likes of David Bowie and Queen, the 23 year old will tour the US, Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand later this year at intimate venues across the globe on ‘Harry Styles Live On Tour’.
‘Sign Of The Times’ perfectly showcases Harry’s impeccable vocal range, from the opening lines of the track you soon understand that it’s a bold statement from Mr. Styles to release a ballad as a debut single, which was not what most fans were expecting, but a very wise move to take the focus away from his old life in One Direction.

Opening with beautiful mellow piano, it soon builds with roaring percussion and guitar riffs; with all the focus heading towards the dazzling vocals and stunning lyrics. It’s a much more mature sound than we are used to hearing from the Cheshire born star, and one that will continue to grow throughout his album and solo career. Whether it’s Bowie or Queen standard is up to you to decide, but he is without a doubt going to make this album a debut to remember.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday 5th May via local ticket agents (excluding Japan), but be prepared to get up early and have your page ready to refresh as they are set to sell out in no time.
