New Jersey rock ‘n’ rollers The Gaslight Anthem have been on hiatus since 2015 but they’re reuniting this year – for at least one show.
The band have been announced as part of the Governors Ball Festival in New York City this June, where they will play their classic album The ’59 Sound in full to celebrate its ten-year anniversary.
They haven’t confirmed whether or not the hiatus is officially over but fans are hoping for a full The ’59 Sound tour, a decade on from their breakthrough second record.
Lead singer Brian Fallon already has a busy year ahead with the release of his second solo album Sleepwalkers coming up next month followed by a Europe and US tour, so who knows what his plans are for the rest of the year?
The Gaslight Anthem’s Twitter has been active recently so the chances of a full-on reunion are looking good. We’ll update you as soon as we know more!
