Formidable singer-songwriter Eliza Shaddad returns with her incandescent new single, One Last Embrace out now.
Her darkest release yet, One Last Embrace combines elements of alternative rock, indie and grunge to create fuzz-filled sonic soundscapes that are brimming with attitude. Distorted guitar riffs, pulsating drum grooves and impassioned vocals are at the forefront, instantly reminiscent of the likes of PJ Harvey or Veruca Salt. Of the track, Eliza explains, “One Last Embrace is about a burning, swirling, completely irrational, totally overwhelming vortex of desire. That moment when you know something is wrong and over, but you want it all the same.”
One Last Embrace is the second single to be released from Eliza’s forthcoming EP, Sept ~ Dec, due for release on 24th January 2020.
