NYC electro-pop/dance diva, Kendra Black, continues to heat things up with more live shows this summer! After releasing her second album, The Fire, last February and a spring tour, the artist keeps things cooking with the announcement of more summer tour dates down the east coast. Over the next three months, the artist takes her live show to new territories, heading to Long Island on July 5th, before heading south to Fort Lauderdale in August. Then in September, Ms. Black is back up to NYC for performances at the legendary Cutting Room and the Ford Amphitheater in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Ms. Black will perform songs from her latest album, The Fire, the bold follow up to her debut release, The Edge, which included her hit single, “Rude”, featuring legendary Snoop Dogg. The new album marks the artist’s transition from a hip hop/pop sound to a much more electronicdance vibe. Jamsphere calls her latest effort a demonstration of “her unique ability to bridge pop, EDM, hipster and mainstream worlds.”
To help make the transition to a more dance sound, Black brought on a powerhouse team to help produce the album: Germany-based producer Enrico Tiberi, Australian producer Androse, NY based composer Nicholas Babian, and Grammy winning engineer Mikaelin “Blue” BlueSpruce.
Expect to hear much more from this incendiary artist in the coming months!
