Desperate Journalist are ready to start their UK tour. The concerts will spread the sound of their new album, In Search Of the Miraculous, out since late February. Showcasing ten tracks, the work contains the singles “Cedars” and “Satellite”, where loud riffs and melodic moments coexist in a distinctive style. The London-based formation confirms a guitar driven, fast vibe aptly complementing Jo Bevan’s vocals.
The tour is kicking off on March 14th in Birmingham, at Hare & Hounds. Then Manchester will follow, with a gig at The Deaf Institute. Scotland and Glasgow’s Broadcast are then hosting a set on March 16th. At a week’s distance, another consecutive ‘miniseries’ (March 21st to March 23rd) will see Desperate Journalist in Bristol (Exchange), Nottingham (The Bodega Social Club) and Leeds (The Lending Room). The Garage in London, on April 5th, is the designated venue for the seventh and closing concert of the British shows. After a one month break, the tour will then restart with four concerts in Germany, between May 8th and 11th.
