Three legends of the guitar are set to grace the stages of the UK as the world-famous G3 tour arrives on our shores later this month. Created by virtuoso Joe Satriani, the all-star guitar roadshow has been going strong for more than two decades, featuring a constellation of axemen from Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen, all the way to King Crimson’s Robert Fripp and Toto’s Steve Lukather.

This European leg of the tour features, alongside Satriani, guitarists John Petrucci (Dream Theater), and Uli Jon Roth (ex-Scorpions). During the shows, each of the acclaimed musicians will show off their chops in a solo set. Satriani is promoting his latest album What Happens Next, recorded in tandem with Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes on bass and Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith on drums. Petrucci and Jon Roth will be performing material from their prolific back catalogues as members of bands or solo artists. The three solo sets aare followed by a massive all-guns-blazing jam with all three shredders as the climax of the show.

Guaranteed to be a spectacle of shredding solos and heartfelt melodies, the prestigious G3 trio of Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Uli Jon Roth are an unmissable show for any fan of rock guitar playing.
