Brighton collective ‘The Go! Team’ have today announced details of a much anticipated new album. March 23rd will see the release of ‘The Scene Between’, via Memphis Industries.
Frontman Ian Parton says: “I wanted to make an album driven by melody and song writing because catchiness is the hardest thing you can do.”
Parton set himself a set of rules for the writing and recording process “Melody would guide the song, samples would be treated as an instrument rather than a basis for the song, the production would vary across the song like flipping the dial on the radio and the singers must all be people he’d never previously heard of.”

Parton wrote, produced, and performed all of the songs on the new LP, which follows 2011’s ‘Rolling Blackouts’.
