Singer of The Cranberries Dolores O’Riordan dies aged 46

Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of The Cranberries, has died at age 46. Currently, there’s no cause of death, since this was such an abrupt passing.

Back in 2017 the band had curtailed their European tour and had also cancelled their US tour, due to Dolores’s back problems. Fans showed outpouring support for the band, respecting the decision to cancel the tour because of her health problems.

Dolores’s publicist has released a statement saying that “The death was sudden”. Proceeding to add to the statement by saying “Family members have requested privacy during this very difficult time.”
