Rapper and producer DOOM has previously sampled Sade‘s ‘Kiss of Life’ on the track ‘Doomsday’ – from his 1999 comeback album ‘Operation: Doomsday’ – and on ‘Kon Karne’ – from his 2004 album ‘MM… Food’ – which borrowed from Sade‘s ‘Is It a Crime’. Using this as a foundation, producer Seanh2k11 has put together an eight-track mash-up EP blending Sade’s sultry sounds with DOOM’s legendary rhymes.

Highlights include opening track ‘Air’ which combines Sade’s ‘I Couldn’t Love You More’ with a DOOM cameo appearance on a Dabrye song. ‘Silver Spoon’ sees a blend of Sade’s ‘Jezebel’ with DOOM’s ‘My Favorite Ladies’. While ‘Hold On Vaughn’ features a mesh of Sade‘s ‘Nothing Can Come Between Us’ with ‘Raedawn’ from DOOM‘s 2003 Viktor Vaughn LP ‘Vaudeville Villain’.

The EP is available to download now at DatPiff, or you can stream it via YouTube (see above)
