London-based electropop duo REYKO have shared their latest single “Hierba Mala”
The follow up to the atmospheric track “Lose Myself” , the new single is a brooding dance track that is all about the feels. It speaks to toxic people and the desire to rid yourself of them, as the title suggests – ‘hierba mala nunca muere’ or ‘bad weed never dies’ .
Complimented with a video, we see the pair wandering through the city streets, capturing the same melancholy present in the track.
Vocalist Soleil and producer Igor – the duo behind the project – are driven by their DIY approach to music, ever since inception. They create everything from start to finish from their home studio. They mix styles from electro, minimal, indie, dance and trap and balancing it with pop hooks and melodies.
Having graced the live scene through touring, REYKO already come across as established artists in their own right – a nomination for Best New Spanish Artist at the LOS40 Awards only further stakes this claim. REYKO continue to raise the bar with every release, creating on their own terms and turning heads of many in the process.
