Polar States return with barnstorming new single ‘Lana’

Liverpool indie-rockers Polar States are back with a bang today, as their new single Lana drops on New Moons (part of the Killing Moon Records group) hits streaming platforms. Lana is the kind of punkish pop-rock track that’s custom-built for festival singalongs and 2am indie-disco dancefloors, and builds on the success of previous 2018 singles Roads and Oxygen.

With the boys playing shows in London and Paris recently and already championed by BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music and Spotify, this is the sound of a new band going places fast. Check out Lana on Spotify here.

“Sometimes it’s the simplest things that leave the biggest memories,” says vocalist Paul Tong about Lana. “Your perception of nostalgia can tell you a lot about yourself and I seem to be pretty good at romanticising it. Lana is one of those anthems which makes you reflect on the first days of a relationship with a mixture of emotions.”

The four-piece are playing a headline show in Liverpool at the O2 Academy on 14th December – tickets are available here.
