Electronicpop duo Phantogram covered ‘Weird Fishes/Arpeggi’ off Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ for Australia’s Triple J. It was performed as part of the radio station’s long-running segment ‘Like a Version’, where artists come in the studio to cover a song of their choice, in its first installment for the new year.
The American duo have previously shared their appreciation for Radiohead, stating that they are “one of those bands that just don’t have a box you can put them in” and calling guitarist Jonny Greenwood one of their dream collaborators.

The NYC-based band also performed an original song, ‘Cruel World’, from their latest album, ‘Three’, released last October. Guitarist and vocalist Josh Carter also told Triple J that he has finished working on his collaboration with Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello for a new song that will be released this year.
Previously on ‘Like a Version’ punk band PUP covered Phantogram’s ‘You Don’t Get Me High Anymore’. Recently, A-Track’s remix of the ‘Three’ cut featuring Joey Purp was released by the band.
