After nearly a year away, The Family Rain are back. The three brothers from Bath premiered the new video for their single ‘What Are You Afraid Of?’ on Thursday 5th November after several weeks of posting teaser stills, and a marketing campaign involving getting their fans to put up Doomsday style lyric posters around various UK cities.
The first song to be taken from their as yet untitled second album due out next year, the video was shot by the band themselves on Go-Pro technology and is based on the final scene of Michelangelo Antonioni’s drama Zabriskie Point.
Their debut album ‘Under The Volcano’ was released to critical acclaim in February last year and saw them support the Courteeners and Jake Bugg amongst others.
The Family Rain will playing a free show on 2nd December at Brooklyn Bowl (inside The O2) alongside Broken Hands plus Special Guests TBA.
‘What Are You Afraid Of?’ is out on Friday 13th November.
