Nile Rodgers has been working on a new documentary series, entitled ‘Lost In Music’. The show will look at Rodger’s history both in and out of legendary disco innovators Chic as well as exploring his impressive list of collaborations – including the likes of David Bowie, Madonna, Diana Ross and Daft Punk. The BBC has confirmed that it will be broadcasting the three part series over on BBC Four in April.

The show will be a thorough examination of his career and history, with Rodgers saying “this series’ attention to detail is comprehensive, we looked back through the decades with real curiosity, picking out moments and actions that seemed frivolous at the time, but had a huge impact on the music we made.”
In addition to extensive interviews from Rodgers himself, a wide cast of other contributors are involved, including Carly Simon, Kathy Sledge, Laura Mulva and Mark Ronson. The BBC claim that “using his hits as a guide, Nile will take viewers through the creative process of making a hit record, as well as living with the success and excess that inevitably follows.”
