Taking the road less travelled, Zoe Konez has spent much of her life across the globe fine tuning her craft and experiencing different musical cultures.
Since settling in London, she’s been developing her craft and collaborating with some of the city’s strongest underground talent. Before even getting to her own projects, Zoe has been a part of numerous band projects, touring regularly and receiving support from Q Magazine, BBC 6 Music and Louder Than War.
She’s also founded and nurtured her London showcase Stop Look Listen, a platform for London’s emerging artists across all genres; Previous acts include Eliza and the Bear, Kimberly Anne and Holly Walker.
Her new single is an emotive, piano-led track that takes Zoe right out of her usual comfort zone. It’s an exciting new horizon for the young artist, as she gears up for her live performance at The Finsbury on November 1st.
“After self-producing one of the four songs on my last EP, I became obsessed with producing my own music. I’m really excited to put out The Sweetest Thing Is Love, which I really have put my heart into making. Capturing the spirit of the song took some work – I’m not a pianist so it took some work to learn to play the song I’d written! I was keen to bring together a laid back, electronicpop vibe with real-world piano, acoustic and electric guitar. “
