London trio Wovoka Gentle have announced the release of their debut album ‘Start Clanging Cymbals’ on 7th June through Nude Records.
They have also shared ‘Sin is Crouching At Your Door’, a new track taken from their upcoming record. Watch the video directed by Lies Scheps below:
After having played their biggest London headline show to date at the Institute of Contemporary Arts last November, the band have confirmed a new London show at the end of March at Omeara, followed by a full European and UK tour in the Spring in support of Malena Zavala. Wovoka Genthe will also play an Album Launch party at London’s Corsica Studios on the 5th June, with more dates and festival appearances to be announced soon.

Wovoka Gentle are an experimental three-piece from London, comprised of William J Stokes and twins Imogen and Ellie Mason. Taking its root in folk and Americana songwriting, the Wovoka sound draws upon the psychedelic soundscapes of the late 60s as well as contemporary experimental, pop and collage music; marrying classic instrumentation with sampling, analogue synthesis and sound manipulation.
