Mysterious posters have been popping up in London. But who are behind these teasing images of clever word-play? Well, Wolf Alice of course!

The posters are inscribed with the words “Wolf Alice”, “Yuk Foo” and the date, “12th June”. It is understood that the band is teasing a new single and there is some speculation that the new track could perhaps be a Foo Fighters “diss track”.

‘Yuk Foo’ has been played live before, on 8 April 2016. Bassist Theo Ellis even posted a picture of the setlist, featuring the single, on his Instagram.

The band recently told NME that a second record is in the works, as a follow up to their debut album, ‘My Love Is Cool’. Last month, Wolf Alice teased their return on Twitter and cryptic message saying: “COMING SOON SIGN UP BELOW X”. Adding fuel to fire, the band has been sending mysterious postcards to lucky fans with cryptic messages on them (see below).

Fans will have to wait to see what 12th June has in store for them. ‘Yuk Foo’ could perhaps give an idea of what is to be expected from Wolf Alice’s eagerly anticipated second album.
