Weezer and Wavves to release joint 7”

Alt rock heroes Weezer and everyone’s favourite noise popsters Wavves have announced they will be releasing a joint effort in the form of a 7” on Wavves frontman’s Nathan William’s label ‘Ghost Ramp’.

Pressing will be limited to just 2000 copies and pre orders are available now, however an actual release date has yet to be announced. This isn’t the first time Wavves have collaborated with another artist, back in 2015 they made a 9 track album with Cloud Nothings.

Whether or not this will see the two bands actually collaborating on any songs together is unclear, so far it looks like it will contain just the two tracks,  Wavves cover of Weezer’s B-side “You Gave your Love to me Softly,” which you can listen to on Soundcloud now and a Weezer song entitled “Fake Smiles and Nervous Laughter,” an unreleased  track from their White Album sessions.
