Having previously received acclaim from the likes of Radio X’s John Kennedy and BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens for last year’s debut 6th Street Psychosis, London band Tokyo Taboo return to blast into our ears with new single ‘No Pleasure Only Pain’.

Propelled by the immense soaring power of front-woman Dolly Daggerz’ vocals, the track races with raging riffs and thrashing beats, oozing a seething energy and gritty passion. Inspired by uncontrollable feelings of animal attraction, ‘No Pleasure Only Pain’ is filled with a raw, seductive allure as it blasts out its intense, groundbreaking force that’ll shake you to your core and leave you wanting more. An instantly infectious riotous anthem, it showcases Tokyo Taboo at their most outrageously impressive.

Of the track, the band explain: “It’s like being so totally seduced that you’d sell your body, but wanting to run and hide somewhere on the opposite side of the planet simultaneously! It’s about that sense of danger that we’re sometimes attracted to.”

Tokyo Taboo are currently gearing up to release their highly anticipated second album which was recently recorded in California by Noah Shain (Badflowers).

‘No Pleasure Only Pain’ is out 30th November via TT Records, pre-order here. Catch Tokyo Taboo live at the single launch show at Camden Fest on 29th November.
