UK melodic punk juggernauts THE CAPITAL have revealed a cinematic new music video for ‘Trouble’ a track taken from their new EP ‘This Place Matters’ released on Saturday 23rd June 2018.

The new video directed by Craig Wetherall debuted late last week at The Punk Site and came with details of a string of new shows planned over the coming months. The band will play a flurry of shows in the UK and Germany as well as taking part in Might As Well Fest at New Cross Inn on October 20th alongside The Capitalist Kids and Thousand Oaks.

Commenting on the single, vocalist Seamus Mcloughlin explained: “Trouble is a song which touches on the intense feelings when a friendship develops into something else, and the excitement that it can bring along with it.”

Recorded at the prestigious Middle Farm Studios with renowned producer and longterm collaborator Peter Miles (Frank Turner, We Are The Ocean, The Skints) over just three short days, the band took a stripped back approach to the recording, passing up studio trickery in favour of using vintage gear and embracing any slight imperfections to give the tracks more of a live feel.
