Londonindie-pop quartet SUN SILVA have released their debut single ‘Blue Light’. The track comes ahead of their headline show at The Lexington, London tomorrow (Sept 4th).
‘Blue Light’ features on the FIFA 19soundtrack. The song delivers widescreen horn-led pop and its effortlessly dreamy vocals take aim at the social media use of today.
Regarding the single frontman Oscar Gormley says, “‘Blue Light’ is about how social media dominates so many young people’s lives. The song is about how this freaks me out and it reminisces on simpler times.”
With a sound that recalls the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, The Maccabees and Tame Impala, SUN SILVA have already built up a strong fan base as staples on London’s live scene, selling out their last headline show at The Sebright Arms earlier this year way before releasing any music.
SUN SILVA will be celebrating the release of their debut single ‘Blue Light’ tomorrow (Sept 4th) at The Lexington; a show that will feature a taste of further exciting songs to come from the four-piece.
