Rising UK singer-songwriter Stealth has shared his brand new single ‘Howlin’’, out today via Ultra Records.
Channelling the spirit of the delta blues into something more fresh and modern, ‘Howlin’’ tackles themes of addiction and love & loss, pairing Stealth’s unrivalled vocals with warm acoustics and backing singer howls.
“I wrote ‘Howlin’’ at a writing camp in Copenhagen,” Stealth explains. “And I was seriously hungover and I woke up with the opening line in my head and had to get it out. The song is about a man who has recently broken up with a woman, and he is blaming his addictions and mistakes on this woman as he goes about town ‘howling’ at anyone and everyone who will listen.”
Stealth propelled into the spotlight in 2016, when hit US TV series ‘Suits’ premiered his single ‘Judgement Day’ from his debut Intro EP. The singer-songwriter has since released a steady stream of singles to date, including ‘Bury Me’, ‘Never Say Die’ and ‘Black Heart’, his collaboration with iconic funk and soul band, The Dap Kings. Earlier this year, he released his previous track ‘Other Lives’. No stranger to the live music circuit, Stealth has shared stages with the likes of Vaults, Tiggs The Auther, Kaleo, Seinebo Sey and Jamie Woon.
One of the UK’s most exciting singer-songwriter talents, Stealth continues with his streak of stunning single releases.
