Sonars explore unconditional love on sepia-drenched new track

Psych-pop duo Sonars are have released new single ‘Love Me Anyway’ taken from new album Theatre Of Darkness

Made up of Frederick Paysden from Brighton and Serena Oldrati from Bergamo, Italy, their hazy, emotionally affecting new track explores the beauty of unconditional love. Frederick tells us the song is “one of the most personal songs I’ve written so far, it’s like a scrapbook of moments of my life and was written for all the people that have meant so much to me along the way.”

The visuals that accompany the band’s music are carefully curated. The album’s aesthetic revolves around two sets of imagery. One of which is the stylized depiction of endangered species of insects at risk of extinction. The other uses long forgotten material such as old photographs, Super 8 films and home movies which were found amongst odds and ends at various flea markets.
